Nostromo Defensa SA is a technology based company which has been developing and producing high level aerospace technology for 9 years. Its main activity is the design and production of unmanned aerial vehicles for military, security and civil applications.

Nostromo Defensa is a Cordoba-based company. All its activities are concentrated in its production center located in Alta Gracia, 40 km southwest of Córdoba city.

In 2006, the exportation of Yarará UAV System to the US Department of Defense raised Nostromo to the highest level in the international UAV market.

To reinforce this new status, the company decided to establish a strategic partnership. In July 2007, Simrad Optronics from Norway acquired 30% of Nostromo Defensa.

At the end of 2007, Nostromo Defensa is developing business opportunities with clients from Chile , USA , Germany , France , Norway and Spain.
